How to restore your chat history

Restore Your Chats
When you sign in to Khudi Chat on a new device or reinstall the app, Khudi Chat will automatically look for the latest backup available. If a cloud backup is available, you'll be prompted to restore your chats and media from Khudi Chat Cloud. If no cloud backup is found, Khudi Chat will attempt to restore from the latest local backup stored on your device.
Important Notes
- Backups include your chat messages, photos, videos, documents, voice messages, and other supported media.
- A stable internet connection is recommended for cloud backups.
- Only the most recent backup is stored in Khudi Chat Cloud. Creating a new backup automatically replaces the previous cloud backup.
- Local backups remain on your device and are updated whenever a new backup is created.
- Chat history can only be restored from the latest successful backup.
How to restore your chat history
You can restore your chat history when you sign in to Khudi Chat on a new device using your registered phone number. During the setup process, Khudi Chat will automatically detect your latest available backup and prompt you to restore it. Simply tap Restore to recover your chats and supported media.
